The Hand-drawn Field Sketch

Drafting by hand is certainly a thing of the past, but it doesn't mean that it is completely obsolete. Contractors often need sketches fast, and architects don't need to necessarily draft those sketches with a software. Ultimately, the guys in the field just need a clear and concise direction that is documented in a formal way. Hand drawing, though superseded by CAD drafting, is still a useful tool to communicate ideas quickly and clearly.
